Climate Resistance
Climate Resistance is the group behind the Stop Polluting Politics campaign. We are a radical grassroots collective fighting for climate justice through strategic, direct action campaigns.
Climate justice can only be achieved by dismantling the systems of oppression that are driving intersecting environmental, social, and economic crises. We target the elites - billionaires, powerful corporations and financiers, and corrupt politicians - that are profiting from these systems of oppression and causing climate breakdown.
We run standalone campaigns that zero in on strategic targets through direct action and civil disobedience to make sure our demands cannot be ignored. Our organising is collective and non-hierarchical, founded on principles of solidarity, anti-racism, and anti-colonialism. We build on the legacy of generations of activists who have come before us and whose struggles laid the foundations for the climate movement of today.
